The Yankee Homecoming Road Race will be scored using the ChronoTrack timing system. Each runner will wear a timing device (D-tag) on their shoe. However, the timing device is a tag that you will receive attached to your race (bib) number. Runners must remove the D-tag from their race (bib) number and attach it to their shoe prior to the race, following the instructions that are attached with the D-tag. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THE D-TAG IS ATTACHED PROPERLY. The D-tag is disposable; it will not be collected after the race.
You may pick up your race (bib) number and and D-tag on race day only, at the Newburyport High School, 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Even if you entered the race thru the mail or over the Internet you still must pick up your assigned race (bib) number, D-tag, and T shirt on race day at registration. We will not time any runner without a D-tag. NO D-TAG - NO TIME.

The chip come on an adjustable Velcro band (Do not remove the chip form the band), it must be worn around your ankle for the entire race. If you enter the race, but then decide not to participate, please do not take your chip at registration. All chips must be returned to us after you cross the finish line. All those not returning the chip will be charged $30.00 as a replacement cost. If you forget to turn in your chip on race day please mail it back in a padded envelope to Bay State Race Services, 12 Piper Glen lane, Haverhill, MA 01832-8903.
